Volunteer Coordination
Volunteers donate their time, we line up the needy non-profit.
OpenNetworks provides a volunteer coordination services that help bring specific skillsets to needy non-profits. This process involves talented and motivated individuals adding their names and skills to our database. Each individual is interviewed and screened by OpenNetworks management before being added to the Service Database.
For example a full-time Apache administrator donates 16 hours of time to OpenNetworks. OpenNetworks finds the non-profits who need Apache web server work (upgrades, additions, etc). OpenNetworks either sends login credentials or pays stipend for personal visit to volunteer administrator. After the volunteer completes work and OpenNetworks verifys the operational quality, OpenNetworks gives the volunteer a receipt for donated time.
